Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless skinless Nutrina Farms chicken breasts
- Season with Salt pepper, and spices of your choice to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Pasta:
- 8 oz pasta like fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne
- Salt for the pasta water
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
- Season the Nutrina Farms chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil overmedium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side,or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Pasta:
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a generous pinch of salt.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- In the same skillet used for chicken, sauté the minced garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the cheese melt sand the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine:
- Slice the cooked chicken into strips and add them back to the skillet with the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine everything together. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water or more chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.
Serve:
- Garnish with chopped parsley.Serve hot, with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
