Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless skinless Nutrina Farms chicken breasts
  • Season with Salt pepper, and spices of your choice to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Pasta:

  • 8 oz pasta like fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne
  • Salt for the pasta water

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

  • Season the Nutrina Farms chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil overmedium-high heat.
  • Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side,or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Pasta:

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a generous pinch of salt.
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain the pasta and set aside.

Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • In the same skillet used for chicken, sauté the minced garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the cheese melt sand the sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine:

  • Slice the cooked chicken into strips and add them back to the skillet with the sauce.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine everything together. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water or more chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.

Serve:

  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
    Serve hot, with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
