Nutrimix Grain Terminal is located within the Point Lisas Industrial Estate , Couva, Central Trinidad. This is the first privately owned grain terminal, not only in Trinidad but in the region and today remains the largest single terminal owned by a private enterprise.
Our storage consists of twelve (12) towering silos, each with a capacity of 3,000 metric tons, used for the storage of free flowing grains. There is also a flat storage area used for holding non-free flowing grains, giving us a total storage capacity of approximately 60,000 metric tons of grain.
Our vessels dock at the Port of Point Lisas from where the grains are discharged and trucked to our grain terminal. Our cargo basically consist of bulk corn, soya bean meal or premix and different wheats. The wheat is conveyed to our flour mill where the flour is extracted and the hulls removed. The hulls, corn and soya bean meal is then trucked to Barrackpore to be incorporated into the manufacture of animal and poultry feeds.
