Welcome to the Future of Nutrimix!
Ronnie Mohammed, President and Group CEO of Nutrimix, ensured continuity of the Group and secured the legacy of his father Shaheed Mohammed by recognising another milestone event that will be recorded in the company’s history.
On Tuesday 25th February 2025, a Sod-Turning Ceremony was held on the site to commence construction of a Generation Beta Animal and Pet Food Plant. Located just 2 km from the Port of Point Lisas and next to the company’s existing flour mill and grain terminal, Nutrimix plans to leverage its proximity to enhance procurement efficiencies and export opportunities.
Nutrimix remains committed to driving economic activity while promoting and encouraging the use of locally produced products and raw materials. We also continue to explore opportunities for closer collaboration on grains and grain by-products produced at the regional level.
Our local content is above 40%. With careful investment and our country’s increasingly shrinking foreign exchange earnings and reserves, we are doing everything possible to modernise, keep in step with technology, create jobs, and bring quality products to the market. We encourage everyone to purchase items made in Trinidad and Tobago. Buying local products supports job creation for our people and ensures job security for many.
